Part 1
I used a spoon, a fork, a bag clasp, a cheese cutter, a cabinet knob, a timer, and a huge diamond wine topper. It was all things that were in the first drawer I opened! I didn't really want to make a shape or design, since I find those to be boring (I think so at least). I found this to be more interesting, plus it made cool looking negative shapes!
Part 2
I tried the best I could with this one! So many little pieces! I tried to make it look balanced IN SOME WAY. I think it looks alright.
I think that your 'cutout' design (top image) is very well done! There also seem to be many lines in the items as they are arranged, pointing in the direction of the fork.
